If you would like to order the CUSU popstars video featuring the full final recorded live at Cindy's, as well as both semi-finals and most of the heats, then send an email to us at tv@cutetv.co.uk and we'll reply back to you with full details of how to get hold of it for the bargain price of just £5! Apologies for those of you currently waiting for copies - they will be available soon, we promise!!! (it's taken a long time to pull all the different elements together!). Also if you want to get involved with CUTE, let us know - we always need more people to do everything!
CUTE makes Cambridge
University's only two student TV shows: fortnightly magazine show CUTE TV
and monthly science show
Science Sussed!.
This term you will be able to see CUTE TV on screens across the university
in a range of college bars and theatres as well as at Cambridge nightclub Life, and we'll be bringing you the latest
student news and sports and gossip as well as the usual mix of other great
features. Check back for
details of this term's screenings - we're planning a big multi-show extravaganza at the end of term.
Shows are filmed 'as live' on alternate Wednesday evenings at Red TV's studios near the Grafton Centre, although shows include pre-recorded features that can be filmed at any time so there's no reason why you can't get involved if you'd like to! The next show will be recorded on Wednesday 12th March from 6-10pm, and the next preparatory show meeting will be Wednesday 5th March - email us for details or to get involved in any way!
CUTE is short for Cambridge University Televisual Entertainment, a registered University society. Membership is open to students of Cambridge and Anglia Universities, and everyone is very welcome to get involved! We're really not scary and everyone who wants to can get on camera or help out behind the scenes or whatever they want to do. You don't need any experience - just a bit of enthusiasm!
CUTE also organises occasional social events for its members.
